About our office

Our office is located in what was previously the North Birmingham Train Depot. It was built in the 1870s and operated at the corner of 29th Street and 29th Avenue. It was moved to our current location 30 years ago and was restored by George and June Ritchey for their Interior Design business. The office still has the feel of an old train depot and is decorated with fun train memorabilia. We have lots of entertaining things for children to do while they’re here, including PlayStation and Xbox, regular contests and fun games. We even have freshly baked cookies and drinks.

We are also excited to offer our patients two other convenient locations. Dr. Sema practices with Dr. Chris Vlachos in his central Homewood office. She also enjoys working with her respected colleagues at McCalla Dental in Bessemer.

Community work

Dr. Sema is active in her local community. She is a member of Homewood Rotary Club and the Homewood Chamber of Commerce. She is also honored to serve on the Safe and Healthy Homewood Coalition, which is an organization dedicated to helping children and all members of the community remain drug and alcohol free. She provides treatment to families in need through organizations such as Smiles Change Lives and other local organizations.
